1.1 Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (hereinafter - the "Terms") describe the terms and conditions applicable to your access and use of the TutēEEN Platform and Services.
1.2 TutēEEN Services
You may access and use the TutēEEN Platform as:
- (a) A registered user seeking online tutoring services (the "Student")
- (b) A registered user providing online tutoring services (the "Tutor")
- (c) A visitor
2. Obligations
2.1 Services Eligibility
Services are available only to individuals who are 18 years and older and can form legally binding contracts. Individuals under 18 must use the Services under parental or legal guardian supervision.
2.2 Verification
TutēEEN may request Tutors to provide government-issued ID and documents confirming their educational credentials.
2.3 Privacy
Your use of the TutēEEN Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy.
2.4 Payment
Payments on the TutēEEN Platform are directed to a virtual wallet, which is released to the company's bank account biweekly. From there, the responsible department processes payments to the teachers via their local payment methods or banks. Teachers receive their earnings on a biweekly schedule.
2.5 Refund
Refund appeals will be reviewed upon submission of valid proof. Only unscheduled lessons will be refunded in case of approval. In such cases, the student may be suggested a list of other tutors with a compromised discount.
2.6 Application Fee
Potential Teachers are expected to pay an application fee of $5 to become tutors on the platform. This fee does not guarantee their acceptance or approval to become teachers on the platform. Approval is based on meeting TutēEEN's outlined teacher requirements.
3. Rights and Limits
3.1 Right to Use the TutēEEN Platform
Students and Tutors are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive right to access and use the TutēEEN Platform for personal use or for providing tutoring services respectively.
3.2 Your Account
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and activities that occur under your account.
3.3 Direct Interactions
TutēEEN does not take part in direct interactions between Students and Tutors except to ensure compliance with these Terms or improve our Services.
4. TutēEEN Content
Users have a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the TutēEEN Content available on the platform.
5. User-Generated Content
Users are responsible for the content they post on the TutēEEN Platform. We do not prescreen user-generated content and are not liable for it.
6. Links to Third-Party Websites
The TutēEEN Platform may contain links to non-TutēEEN websites. These are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content.
7. Advertisement
TutēEEN may run advertisements and promotions sponsored by third parties. Any business dealings with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.
8. No Implied Endorsements
References to third-party products or services do not constitute an endorsement by TutēEEN.
9. Relations Between TutēEEN and Users
TutēEEN serves as an intermediary connecting Students and Tutors. Users act as independent contractors.
10. Assignment
You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms to any third party without TutēEEN's written consent.
11. Feedback
You may provide feedback to improve the Services. By providing feedback, you consent to its use by TutēEEN.
12. Reviews
Users may leave reviews and ratings. TutēEEN does not monitor or censor these but may address them if brought to our attention.
13. Notifications
TutēEEN will communicate with you via email, regular mail, or by posting on the platform.
14. Termination
We may terminate any user's access to the TutēEEN Platform for any reason, with or without prior notice.
15. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property in the TutēEEN Platform belongs to TutēEEN or its licensors.
16. Confidentiality
You agree to hold all confidential information obtained via the Services in strict confidence.
17. Disclaimer of Warranty
The TutēEEN Platform is provided "as is" without any warranties.
18. Limitation of Liability
TutēEEN is not liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.
19. Dispute Resolution
Disputes shall be resolved by individual arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where TutēEEN is registered.
21. Non-Solicitation
The Services may not be used to solicit for any other business without TutēEEN's consent.
22. Headings
Headings are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
23. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and TutēEEN.
